My personal journey

Bridging worlds: A quest for knowledge and adventure

Born and raised in Germany, a country known for its efficiency and commitment to technical excellence, my endless curiosity and rebellious nature drove me to explore diverse cultures from an early age.
Actively seeking out new horizons, I chose to undertake an internship in India for several months - a transformative experience that fueled my passion for knowledge and adventure even more. I backpacked all over Latin America, immersing myself in its diverse cultures to master Spanish. After relocating to France for two years it’s now been four years into my life in Brazil.
My adventures have spanned around 50 countries, significantly expanding my worldview and perpetually enriching my quest for knowledge. Fluent in five languages, I continue to explore and connect with different cultures around the globe.

Embracing change: Venturing into independent consultancy

With a master’s degree in transport economics, I began my career as a project manager and consultant in the aerospace and logistics industry, working for leaders like Lufthansa, Airbus, and DB Schenker. In these roles, I earned certifications in both traditional (PMI) and agile (Scrum) project management, allowing me to effectively manage complex projects and deliver results in dynamic environments. Despite the achievements, I felt restricted.In 2020, I made a shift by leaving a stable position in Paris to venture into the realm of independent consulting and project management. This decisive move was driven by a deep commitment to my core values of freedom, creativity, and innovation. Eager to enact social change, I enrolled in the Amani Institute’s Post-Grad Program in Social Innovation Management, where I began to support non-profits and social enterprises in developing strategic, impactful models.Passionate about personal development and leadership, I became a certified yoga teacher and got a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology. In my Master's Thesis I developed a leadership development program for social impact professionals. For the future, I am planning to further deepen my expertise by pursuing a PhD in the same field, aiming to continue developing innovative strategies that help driving meaningful change.

Fulfilling a dream: Co-founding a social enterprise

Creating impactful change has always been a driving force in my career, particularly through initiatives that significantly improve the lives of those in need. In 2022, I co-founded the Regenerators Collective with a dedicated group of like-minded individuals. Our mission is to transform the global food system by fostering collaborations among diverse stakeholders from academia, industry, civil society, and NGOs; one project at a time.Our approach integrates innovation, education, and technology transfer to empower rural farming communities in the global south. We initiated a pioneering project in Ethiopia and are currently expanding our efforts to Colombia in partnership with a local organization and university.
